Galala University Organizes “Health Day for Free Examination” for Staff and Community
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shinawi, Acting Vice President for International Affairs, Community Service, and Environmental Development, Galala University (GU) organized the “Health Day for Free Examination” — an initiative that highlights GU’s strong commitment to community service, health awareness, and social responsibility.
The event aimed to promote preventive healthcare among both university staff and the local community, reflecting GU’s mission to enhance the quality of life beyond the campus walls. Throughout the day, participants benefited from a variety of free medical services, including vital signs checks, blood sugar measurements, and physical therapy sessions conducted by a team of skilled specialists and faculty members.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for attendees to gain insight into their personal health status and to receive practical guidance on how to adopt healthier daily habits. It also encouraged students and staff to take part in community engagement activities, reinforcing GU’s belief in the importance of merging academic excellence with civic responsibility.
By organizing this initiative, Galala University continues to demonstrate its leadership as a smart, sustainable, and community-oriented institution, actively working toward the well-being of both its internal and external communities. This initiative also aligns with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
