Galala University Welcomes Delegation from the British Council to Discuss Strategic Collaboration
Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shinawi, Acting President of Galala University, and Prof. Dr. Tarek Abou El-Maaty, Vice President for Academic Affairs, welcomed a distinguished delegation from the British Council to the university’s campus.
The delegation included Ms. Elizabeth White, Director of the British Council, Ms. Ruth Cox, Deputy Director of the British Council, Professor John McGovern, British Council Advisor for Higher Education, Mr. James Toole, Representative of the British Embassy in Cairo, and Prof. Dr. Ali Sabour, member of Galala University’s Board of Trustees.
The visit aimed to explore new avenues of collaboration between Galala University and the British Council, with a particular focus on enhancing educational quality, international partnerships, and institutional development. Discussions also highlighted the significant progress achieved by Galala University’s Strategic Planning Unit, as the university officially transitions from the planning stage to the implementation stage of its comprehensive strategic plan.
This engagement underscores Galala University’s commitment to strengthening international cooperation, promoting academic excellence, and aligning with global standards in higher education—further solidifying its position as a leading institution shaping the future of education in Egypt and the region.
