Faculty of Media Production Wins Prestigious Awards in the “Al-Ahd” Competition

The Faculty of Media Production at Galala University achieved remarkable success in the third edition of the “Al-Ahd” competition, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the Armed Forces’ Moral Affairs Department.

The faculty’s documentary film “Judo”, produced under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Taha, won second place in the Television and Visual Works category. Meanwhile, the radio episode “777”, produced under the supervision of Dr. Asmaa Samir, received the Excellence Award for Best Radio Program for Children — a proud achievement that highlights the exceptional creativity, professionalism, and dedication of Galala University students.

The “Al-Ahd” competition aims to enhance national awareness and strengthen a sense of belonging among youth through media and artistic creativity. During this year’s edition, the Faculty of Media Production presented two documentary films produced by fourth-year students under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Taha, along with a radio episode created by third-year students under the supervision of Dr. Asmaa Samir.

The awards ceremony was attended by Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Dr. Tarek Saada, Head of the Media Syndicate, along with deans, vice deans, department heads, faculty members, and students from various media faculties across Egypt.

This achievement reaffirms Galala University’s commitment to empowering youth talent, fostering media excellence, and promoting national values through creative education and hands-on learning experiences.
