As part of Galala University’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and women’s health awareness, the Technology of Radiology and Medical Imaging Program proudly participated in the 8th Baheya Breast Cancer Conference (BBCC 2025), held under the inspiring theme “A Decade of Empowering Care, Science, and Hope”, coinciding with Baheya’s 10th anniversary.
The conference took place from 29 to 31 October 2025, beginning with a Live Surgery Day at Baheya Zayed Hospital on October 29th, where leading local and international surgeons showcased the latest advancements in breast cancer surgery. The event continued with scientific sessions and workshops on October 30–31, bringing together distinguished oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and researchers to discuss innovative approaches in integrated breast cancer diagnosis and management.
Galala University’s participation included a delegation of around 20 members, representing faculty and students from the Radiology and Medical Imaging Program — among them the Program Director, Program Founder, several academic staff, and students from various academic years. Their active engagement reflected the program’s strong dedication to professional development, scientific collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence in medical imaging and oncology research.
This academic contribution reaffirms Galala University’s mission to empower its students and faculty through knowledge exchange, research participation, and active involvement in advancing healthcare innovation and women’s well-being in Egypt.
