The Faculty of Physical Therapy at Galala University hosted a distinguished scientific and clinical day entitled “Orthopedic Day,” bringing together academic expertise and clinical insights to enrich students’ knowledge and practical understanding of orthopedic physical therapy.
The event featured a series of specialized presentations delivered by prominent experts in the field. Prof. Dr. Rafik Radwan, Assistant Professor of Biomechanics at the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Cairo University, President of Sky Life Foundation, and Founder of Fizik Centers, presented a lecture entitled “The Role of Physical Therapy in Ankle Joint Pain and Injuries.” His presentation addressed biomechanical aspects, rehabilitation strategies, and evidence-based approaches to managing ankle-related conditions.
The scientific program also included a presentation by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sarhan, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Suez Canal University, entitled “The Role of Physical Therapy in Shoulder Joint Pain and Injuries.” The lecture highlighted common shoulder pathologies, modern rehabilitation protocols, and the critical role of physical therapists in improving patient outcomes.
The event witnessed strong engagement and a large attendance of students from various academic years, reflecting their interest in clinical practice and professional development. The Faculty of Physical Therapy expressed its appreciation to the Scientific Minds Club and the organizing team for their efforts in delivering a successful and impactful academic event.
