The Galala University Rally Society, operating under the supervision of the Galala University Incubator & Entrepreneurship Center, concluded the 2025 season with outstanding achievements at the Rally Egypt Competition 2025, marking a milestone in student-led innovation and entrepreneurship at the university.
Throughout the season, the society supported the development of 53 business ideas through structured programs and mentorship. As a result of continuous guidance and evaluation, 13 ideas progressed into launch-ready business plans, while four projects advanced to the national level as finalists, demonstrating the high quality and competitiveness of student innovations.
Three of the finalist projects successfully secured seed funding totaling 300,000 EGP, reflecting their strong potential for real-world impact. The funded projects included MediRush, which received 75,000 EGP for its AI- and IoT-based system designed to monitor factory workers’ vital signs and locations to enhance workplace safety. MediCompanion was awarded 100,000 EGP for its solution that uses AI and IoT technologies to track medication adherence among elderly patients and notify their relatives. Tech Pioneer secured 125,000 EGP for its innovative AI- and IoT-powered solution that assists visually impaired individuals while navigating supermarkets. In addition to receiving funding, Tech Pioneer achieved third place, earning the Bronze Trophy at the competition.
In recognition of these accomplishments, the Galala University Rally Society was nationally honored as a “Rising Star Society” and ranked among the Top Five University Societies in Egypt, highlighting its growing influence within the national entrepreneurship ecosystem.
These achievements reflect the supportive and dynamic environment fostered by the Galala University Incubator & Entrepreneurship Center, as well as the dedication of the society’s students, faculty supervisors, and mentors. The successful conclusion of the 2025 season underscores Galala University’s commitment to nurturing innovation, entrepreneurship, and future-ready graduates capable of contributing to Egypt’s innovation landscape.
