In line with Egypt’s national direction to enhance cooperation among universities and integrate roles in advancing the higher education system, and under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Galala University has signed a cooperation protocol with El Arish University. The agreement aims to support and develop academic and research collaboration between both institutions, contributing to the preparation of qualified graduates who meet labor market demands and support sustainable development plans.
The protocol focuses on advancing academic programs, developing curricula, enhancing research capabilities, and strengthening clinical skills. It also promotes the exchange of expertise and supports joint training programs, reinforcing academic integration between the two universities.
The agreement includes several areas of collaboration in scientific research, academic theses, and education development projects, as well as the execution of joint research initiatives. It also covers the exchange of expertise and scientific consultations in areas of mutual interest, the organization of joint training programs and courses, support for community service activities, and participation in conferences, seminars, and scientific discussions.
In this context, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Shinawi, President of Galala University, stated that the signing of this protocol comes in line with the directives and support of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, aimed at strengthening integration among Egyptian universities and supporting regional alliances, particularly the Suez Canal and Sinai Alliance. He noted that this collaboration maximizes the utilization of available capabilities across educational institutions.
He further emphasized that this partnership represents an important step toward enhancing academic and research integration, particularly in medical fields, highlighting Galala University’s commitment to building impactful partnerships that advance education and enhance human capital in alignment with Egypt’s sustainable development vision.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Ayman Abdel Meguid El Shibini, President of El Arish University, expressed his appreciation for this partnership, noting that it marks a new phase of academic and research collaboration between the two universities. He highlighted its role in exchanging expertise, developing academic programs, and benefiting both students and faculty members, while supporting development efforts in Sinai.
He also emphasized El Arish University’s commitment to expanding cooperation with Egyptian universities to enhance the quality of education and scientific research, contributing to sustainable development and community service.
