Galala University has achieved a new milestone reflecting its ongoing commitment to implementing the highest standards of quality and institutional excellence by receiving recommendations for two internationally recognized ISO certifications. The achievement follows the successful completion of the main audit conducted during May 2026 by AJA-Egypt, reinforcing the university’s leadership in regional and international accreditation.
The university received recommendation for the ISO 9001:2015 certification accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS), as well as the ISO 21001:2018 certification accredited by the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC).
The certifications were granted by:

Anglo Japanese American Registrars
The project was conducted under the supervision of the consultancy body:
Arab Engineering Company (AEC)
The audit team representing the certification body included:
* Dr. Amr Ahmed – Lead Auditor
* Dr. Mohamed Amin – Senior Auditor
* Dr. Mohamed Othman – Senior Auditor
* Dr. Ahmed Kamal – Senior Auditor
The consultancy team included:
* Dr. Abdo Saad El-Din Mostafa – General Manager of the Company
* Dr. Manal Darwish – Company Consultant and Consultancy Project Manager
The project management team at Galala University included Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Shinawi, President of the University and Project Chairman; Dr. Rana Mohamed Zeidan, Executive Director of the Project; and Ms. Shaim Samir, General Manager of Institutional Excellence and Project Manager.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Shinawi, President of Galala University and Chairman of the Project, expressed his pride in this achievement, describing it as the result of continuous collective efforts across the university. He emphasized that receiving recommendation for accreditation according to these international standards reflects the university’s commitment to implementing global best practices in management and educational quality, ensuring the delivery of an advanced academic and administrative experience aligned with international standards.
He further noted that this success represents an important step within the university’s strategy to reinforce a culture of quality and continuous improvement while supporting institutional and academic efficiency. He added that the university remains committed to pursuing further international accreditations that strengthen its competitiveness and leadership at both local and regional levels.
Dr. Rana Mohamed Zeidan praised the spirit of cooperation and integration among the university’s various sectors, highlighting the teamwork and commitment demonstrated throughout all preparation and review phases.
For her part, Ms. Shaim Samir explained that successfully passing the main audit demonstrates the university’s readiness and the alignment of its institutional systems with international standards requirements. She confirmed that the work was carried out according to an integrated plan aimed at developing institutional processes, enhancing performance efficiency, and achieving the highest levels of quality.
She added that this achievement would not have been possible without the full support of the university administration and the productive collaboration among different work teams. She also noted that the coming phase will witness continued efforts toward development and improvement, further strengthening Galala University’s position as a leading educational institution implementing the latest systems of quality and institutional excellence.
