Galala University students achieved outstanding success by winning first place at the Ibdaa Festival – Season 14 for University Youth in the Musical Theatre category through their performance of the play “Wesh El Leil.” Under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and H.E. Minister of Youth and Sports, Gohar Nabil, The achievement reflects the university’s continuous support for student creativity and excellence across artistic and cultural activities.
The performance also earned several individual awards recognizing the remarkable talents of participating students:

Best Décor: Mostafa Walid Abdelwahed – Faculty of Arts and Design
Best Musical Arrangement: Youssef Ahmed Mohamed – Faculty of Engineering
Best Choreography Design: Seif El-Din Mohamed – Faculty of Computer Engineering
Best Pamphlet Design: Elaf Wael Hamdy – Faculty of Computer Engineering
