Galala University proudly celebrates the participation of Mohamed Ahmed, a student in the Molecular Biotechnology Program at the Faculty of Science, in the international conference “Thriving Economies Amidst Armed Violence,” held on May 11, 2026, at Reid Hall in Paris, France, as part of his academic exchange through the Erasmus+ Programme.
The conference was organized by Columbia University’s Social Study of Disappearance Lab in collaboration with CERI–Sciences Po and LAP–EHESS, bringing together academics, researchers, and students to examine the complex relationship between economic development, armed conflict, and global supply chains, as well as their impact on local communities and sustainable development.
Participating in such a prestigious international academic event provided Mohamed Ahmed with the opportunity to engage in global discussions on contemporary challenges, exchange perspectives with participants from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds, and further enrich his international academic experience.
