Galala University welcomed Major General Staff Hisham Hosny Hassan, Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, during an official visit aimed at strengthening national awareness, fostering a sense of belonging, and promoting responsibility among university students.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Shinawi, President of Galala University, received Major General Staff Hisham Hosny Hassan and the accompanying delegation, which included Brigadier General Yousry, Assistant Commander for University Affairs and responsible for military education in Egypt; Colonel Sameh Taha, Head of the Follow-up Office; and Colonel Magdy Mosallam, Director of Military Education at Galala University.
As part of the visit, Major General Staff Hisham Hosny Hassan delivered a lecture to GU students focusing on raising national awareness and strengthening the values of belonging and responsibility among young people. The session was followed by an open dialogue with students, providing an opportunity for direct interaction, discussion, and exchange of perspectives.
During the visit, Galala University honored Major General Staff Hisham Hosny Hassan in recognition of his visit and engagement with the University’s students.
The delegation also toured a number of Galala University’s academic and residential facilities, including the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Art and Design, and the student dormitories. The tour provided an overview of the University’s educational environment, facilities, and integrated campus experience.
The visit reflects Galala University’s commitment to complementing academic education with initiatives that contribute to students’ personal development, national awareness, and active engagement with their community.
