Galala University Nano Science and Technology Students Build Their Own Electro-Spinning Machine
At Galala University, hands-on learning and innovation are at the core of education, and students of the Nano Science and Technology Program recently showcased this by building an Electro-Spinning Machine from scratch. This cutting-edge device is designed to produce nanofibers, a key material with wide applications in medicine, textiles, filtration, and advanced materials industries.
This achievement reflects a year of interactive learning, field trips, and participation in national and international conferences, providing students with both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to thrive in the nano science industry. By designing and constructing the machine themselves, students gained experience in engineering design, problem-solving, and experimental research, bridging the gap between classroom theory and industrial application.
The project not only demonstrates the creativity and technical expertise of Galala University students but also highlights the university’s commitment to fostering innovation, research skills, and industry-ready competencies. Such accomplishments prepare graduates to contribute effectively to emerging technologies and play a leading role in advancing scientific and technological development in Egypt and beyond.
