Mohamed Medhat Gaber

Professor Gaber received his PHD from Monash University, Australia, with an internship at IBM T.J.Watson Research Lab , New York, USA. His PHD thesis was nominated for Mollie Holman Award for best PHD theses in 2006 at Monash University based on the examiners’ reports. Prior to joining Galala University , professor Gaber had an academic career in the United Kingdom ,working for the university of Portsmouth, Robert Gordon University and Birmingham City University.
Ibrahim Fathy Moawad
Artificial intelligence Program Director
Professor Moawad is a full professor of Artificial Intelligence at Faculty of Computer and Information Science, Ain Shams University, Egypt. He is the Former Director of Electronic & Knowledge Services Centre, Supreme Council of Universities (SCU), Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Egypt. He is a member of the National Council for Egyptian Artificial Intelligence, which was established in 2019 by the decision of the Prime Minister. He is a member of the national committee that prepared Egypt's strategic plan for Artificial Intelligence (2020-2025). Prof. Moawad is the Former Secretary of Information Technology Sector Committee, Supreme Council of Universities (SCU), Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Egypt. He is the Former Secretary of Cultural Relations Committee, Supreme Council of Universities (SCU), Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Egypt. He got his Ph.D., M.Sc. and B.Sc in 2005, 2000 and 1995 respectively, Department of Systems and computers Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Al-Azhar university. He was the principal investigator of Ain Shams university for the international BioDialog project with Jena university – Germany, Assiut university - Egypt, and Safex university – Tunisia, the project was funded by the DAAD organization in three phases: preparatory phase (2015), second phase (2016 – 2017), and final phase (2018). Prof. Moawad is the Author and Co-author for more than 60 academic articles in international journals and conferences. He is a referee for many highly ranked international journals and conferences such as the IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing. He is the author of the "A Framework for Multi-Agent Diagnosis System: Argumentation-based Negotiation Technique for Belief Conflict Resolution'' book.
The mission includes seven international organizations from Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
