As a student center institute, we strive to ensure all students has the opportunities and resources they need to succeed and that is an integral role of your Academic Advising Center at Galala University as advising is an important part of undergraduate education.

The purpose of advising is to assist students in taking responsibility for their own learning and develop meaningful educational plans compatible with their potential and their career and life goals.

Advisors at GU provide maximum support and guidance to students as they navigate their way through curricular requirements and academic challenges.

We also assist students in discovering the many on-campus resources and provide their advisees with ongoing encouragement and support.

Every newly admitted student is assigned a Program Academic Advisor who will remain with them from their first semester of college until graduation.
