Interior Architecture Program

Program Overview

Do you want to learn how to transform spaces?

Our Interior Architecture program provides you with the skills to transform or give new life to spaces, as well as teaching you how to plan and design creative interiors. Our graduates do much more than design houses; they design hospitals and hotels, offices and schools, and furniture. They represent manufacturers, create lighting systems and preserve historic buildings.

What’s the difference between an architect and an interior architect?

Interior architects/designers create the specific character of spaces for human use and enjoyment. While the architect typically focuses on the building form and external profiles, relationships between buildings and landscape, the interior architect/designer’s focus is primarily on the interior spaces of buildings. In this capacity, interior architects must understand the important role of materials, colors, textures, and light in the creation of interior spaces.
