Nagy Rashwan is Reader of Contemporary English Literature and Philosophy of Language. He is the Winner of the highest Egyptian State Encouragement Award for Literary Criticism, for his book “Cultural Consciousness and the Myth of Conception'' 2000) and Author of many books and articles, the poet, critic and translator.
Associate Professor, Rashwan graduated with honors for his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees (2002) from DeMontfort University’s English Department, the UK, after winning two full over-seas postgraduate scholarships. He has been teaching literature at DeMontfort, Alexandria, Damanhour, Saudi Arabia, then, lastly, Galala university; offering his considerable expertise and passion to his under-, and post-graduate students alike.
