Galala University welcomes a delegation from Knowledge Hub University, Co-host for the British Coventry University branch in Cairo, to discuss cooperation methods

Galala University welcomed a delegation from Knowledge Hub University, Co-host for the British Coventry University branch in Cairo,  to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in several scientific fields. The delegation was represented by Mr.  Ihab Salama, CEO of Elsewedy Education, Mrs. Maryam Draz, Business Development Directors for El Sewedy Education, and Mr. Muhannad Omar, Director of Governmental and International Affairs for El Sewedy Education.


Prof. Dr. Ashraf Haider Ghaleb, Acting President of Galala University,  welcomed the guests. Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shenawi, Acting Vice President for International Relations, Community Service, Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Tariq Abu al-Maaty, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, were also present during the visit. 


During the Knowledge Hub University meeting, the delegation provided a brief explanation about Coventry University, its objectives, current and future projects. The discussion also focused on discussing future ways of cooperation between the two universities by holding joint training courses for students and discussing ways of partnership in presenting ideas for future projects reflected in the development of education in Egypt.


At the end of the visit, a field tour was conducted inside Galala University’s campus for the delegation members. They were given a brief about all the capabilities and faculties available at the university.


Galala University is one of the new state universities, which began operating last year under the direction of His Excellency; President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to be one of the essential pioneering universities that implement a high-quality education system, positioning it to be one of the best educational institutions for local and international students.


The campus accommodates buildings for fifteen fields, offering more than 65 distinct programs. Fourteen fields began operating this year, divided into 29 programs in various areas, including Medicine, Media Production, Physical Therapy, Social and Human Sciences, Administrative Sciences, Advanced Basic Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering Sciences, Architecture, Art, and Design, Applied Health Sciences Technology, Dentistry, Nursing Sciences and finally Computer Science Engineering.


The university also includes a Teaching Hospital, which is currently in the final phase of construction, Student Dorms, faculty members, and provides transportation for students and university employees.
