Hotel managers are responsible for each, and every aspect of the hotel that they work for, such as the front office, reservations, guest relations, housekeeping, restaurants, kitchen, banquets, sales and marketing, human resources, engineering and maintenance, accounting and finance, information systems and even security.

The hospitality industry is dynamic, innovative, and lively and this program will help you to develop those skills needed to be a successful manager of the future within the industry. The hotel and resort management program aims at preparing you for a career in this exciting and fast-growing industry. The program combines core business administration studies with specialist hospitality and tourism modules.  It contains a set of general courses related to tourism, accounting, economics, and specialist modules that give you a detailed understanding of the unique features, opportunities, and challenges of the hospitality industry. The program offers specialized courses in the areas of hotel and resort management, hospitality marketing, food and beverage management, rooms management, human resources management.

This program also requires the student to arrange and participate in approved internships so that classroom learning can be applied or experienced at hospitality facilities. Local/international internships expand students’ understanding of the day-to-day operations of the industry. Graduates of this program can serve different nationalities in hotels and resorts, perform the administrative and technical functions related to managing different hospitality businesses. They can compete locally and globally in the field of hospitality, not just hotel and resort management.

  • Analyze and apply marketing objectives and sales strategies to the operations necessary for the management of hotel and resort business.
