Program Overview

For the first time in Egypt, students can earn a dual bachelor’s degree in business administration from Galala University (GU) and Arizona State University (ASU) studying at the Galala campus. 

This GU-ASU bachelor’s dual-degree in marketing is a crucial step toward a dynamic career field where professionals fill several roles related to consumer behavior, analysis, advertising, market strategy and more.

The marketing degree helps students gain an understanding of the science behind consumer behavior and the critical role that marketing plays in all organizations. Students develop the necessary marketing skills needed for the competitive environment of the twenty-first century job market.

Admission Requirements

GU requirements:

  • 2 admission tests: a cognitive test which represents 25%, a critical thinking test which represents 5% and the rest is your Thanaweya Amma or the equivalent certificate which will represent the rest of the 70%.

 

ASU requirements:

  • Students must complete the following eight courses before enrolling at ASU with a GPA of 3.4 or higher: CIS 105/BIS111 , MAT 210/MAT235, ECN 211/ECO113, MAT 211/MAT 236 , ACC 231/ACC112, ECN 212/ECO114, ECN 221/MAT335, and ACC 241/ACC122.
  • No individual course may have a grade below a C (2.0). Cumulative GPA for all courses in semesters 1-4 must be 3.0 or higher.
  • TOEFL iBT of 61, IELTS of 6.0, PTE of 53, Duolingo English Test 95 or successful completion of ASU’s English for Undergraduate Admissions and Achievement course.
