Biography

Professor Hamdy Hassanien is a distinguished chemistry expert known for his remarkable contributions to academia and research. He holds the position of a chemistry professor at Galala University, specializing in basic sciences. He obtained his BSc and MSc degrees from Ain Shams University and completed his PhD through a joint program with LEI du CNRS, France.

His impact goes beyond education, as he led the physical chemistry division at ASU and served as an adjunct professor at Zewail University. Notably, he directed ASU’s Photoenergy Center. Professor Hassan’s expertise is recognized internationally, with 58 publications in respected journals.

His exceptional influence is further highlighted by his consistent inclusion in Stanford University’s list of the world’s Top 2% most cited scientists (2017-2022). This recognition is based on Scopus data, underlining his significant contributions to various fields.
