Galala University Celebrates the Athletic Achievements of Its Students

At Galala University (GU), we believe in the importance of maintaining a crucial balance between education and fitness, as both contribute to shaping well-rounded, successful individuals.

We are proud to celebrate two of our outstanding students, Ziad Haytham and Mahmoud Hesham, who have achieved remarkable success in international athletic competitions.

Ziad Haytham secured first place in the African Swimming Competition for Youth, breaking a new record in the 4 × 200-meter freestyle relay — a historic achievement for both Egypt and the African continent.

Mahmoud Hesham won the gold medal in the Pentathlon during the Biathle/Triathle World Championship, held in 2019 in Saint Petersburg, USA, showcasing his dedication, endurance, and exceptional athletic ability.

These remarkable achievements reflect the “I can do it” spirit that defines Galala University’s community — a spirit that inspires all our students to excel not only in their academic pursuits but also in sports and personal development.
