Having been appointed the president of Galala University, I want to tell you how excited I am to be part of such a special university. In GU, we genuinely care for the success of our students and strive to make their experience outstanding and life- changing.
As the president of GU, it is my pleasure to share with you my vision of this institution. GU seeks for academic excellence in all of its academic programs. Our major strength lies in a strong team of highly qualified faculty and dedicated staff to deliver first class education.
In the fast-changing global economic environment, GU has plans to strive to bring global perspective to all its programs and activities. With international partnerships, we offer the dual degree programs in collaboration with Arizona State University, a top-ranked American University and #1 in innovation, so that our students could earn two degrees, from both Galala University and Arizona State University without leaving Egypt. And as we believe in preparing global leaders who believe in contributing to the national and global economy and civil society, GU plans for more global alliances with highly reputed academic organizations.
Our vision is to emerge as one of the major educational institutions with global perspective and thus we have taken steps in pursuit of academic excellence. Some of the specific steps taken include recruitment of highly qualified faculty with global perspective, designing the course curriculum with the aid of the latest technologies which are employed for effective delivery.
