Galala University Hosts PRIMA Info Session to Announce PRIMA 2021 Annual Work Plan
As part of its continuous efforts to strengthen international partnerships in Community Service, Sustainability, and Environmental Development, Galala University (GU) is pleased to invite researchers, academics, and sustainability advocates to attend a PRIMA Info Session announcing the PRIMA 2021 Annual Work Plan (AWP).
PRIMA (Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area) brings together European Union Member States, Horizon 2020 Associated Countries, and Mediterranean Partner Countries to promote collaborative research and innovation addressing key challenges in water, agriculture, food, and sustainability.
The Arab Republic of Egypt officially became a participating state with PRIMA in 2018 under an agreement signed on September 18th, 2019 between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) and the European Union.
The upcoming webinar aims to combine expertise and financial resources to generate innovative solutions for socio-economic development and to support Egypt’s active participation in PRIMA’s regional research initiatives. During the session, rules for PRIMA Section 1, funded by the EU, will be announced, along with national participation rules for PRIMA Section 2, presented by representatives from ASRT (Academy of Scientific Research and Technology) and STDF (Science and Technology Development Fund).
