Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Haider Ghaleb, Acting President of Galala University, Prof. Dr. Tarek Abouelmaaty, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shinawi, Acting Vice President for International Affairs, Community Service, and Environmental Development, the Field of Advanced Basic Sciences and its Nanoscience and Technology Program, headed by Dr. Radwa Abou-Saleh, proudly organized an insightful seminar featuring Dr. Haitham Shaban, Researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL).

The seminar, held on Wednesday, March 31st, 2021 at 11:30 AM, was titled “Nanoscale Imaging of the Genome Organization in Single Cells and Real-Time.” During the session, Dr. Shaban explored various Nanoscale Imaging techniques and provided a comprehensive overview of genome organization in the eukaryotic nucleus. He also discussed the broad applications of nanoscale technologies in biophysics, highlighting their transformative impact on biomedical and genetic research.

This seminar was part of Galala University’s continuous efforts to engage students and faculty in cutting-edge scientific discussions and expose them to the latest advancements in nanoscience and biotechnology.
