Galala University Signs Cooperation Protocol with GLC Paints and Launches “GU Design Talks” Series
Galala University continues to strengthen its ties with industry leaders to ensure that students gain the knowledge, skills, and real-world experience needed to excel in today’s competitive job market. In line with this vision, a protocol of cooperation was officially signed between Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Shinawi, Acting President of Galala University, and Mr. Muhammad Amin Al-Hout, Executive Director of GLC Paints Company.
This partnership aims to enhance collaboration between academia and the private sector, fostering innovation and aligning academic curricula with the actual needs of the labor market. Through this agreement, GLC Paints will provide Galala University students—particularly those in the Field of Art and Design—with training opportunities, exposure to real projects, and insights into the industrial design process. This initiative supports GU’s goal of preparing graduates who are creative, skilled, and ready to contribute effectively to Egypt’s growing economy.
In addition to the protocol signing, the Field of Art and Design at Galala University launched the “GU Design Talks” series—an ongoing monthly event designed to inspire and educate students by connecting them directly with leading designers and creative professionals. The inaugural session featured talks by Mr. Mohamed Baitie and Ahmad Fayyad & Malak Rashad from GLC Paints and F&R Partnership, who shared valuable insights about the creative process, color theory, and the latest design trends shaping the industry today.
Through initiatives like these, Galala University reinforces its role as a bridge between education and industry, empowering students to innovate, create, and lead in their respective fields.
