Galala University was honored today to welcome Prof. Luciano Saso, Full Professor at Sapienza University of Rome, for an insightful session titled “Internationalization Strategies & Research Methods for Young Researchers”.
At the opening of the session, Prof. Mohamed El Shinawi, President of Galala University, warmly welcomed Prof. Luciano Saso, thanking him for sharing his experience with the GU community. He emphasized the importance of connecting with global experts, noting that such sessions reflect the university’s commitment to international collaboration and creating opportunities for students and researchers to engage with the world.
Prof. Saso, a globally recognized scientist and one of Clarivate’s Highly Cited Researchers in both 2022 and 2024, shared his extensive experience in international academic collaboration. The session offered valuable guidance for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and academic staff seeking to broaden their research impact and engage with the global scientific community.
Drawing from over 30 years of academic excellence and more than 400 publications, Prof. Saso provided practical tips on publishing in high-impact journals, building global research networks, and securing international funding. He also emphasized the importance of aligning research with global development goals, particularly through international partnerships and interdisciplinary work.
