The Faculty of Media Production at Galala University organized an engaging seminar about the blockbuster film Oscar: The Return of the Mammoth, which is currently showing in cinemas and attracting a large audience.
The film is a groundbreaking fantasy and science fiction production — the first of its kind in the Arab world — blending intense drama with extensive use of visual effects in more than 90% of its scenes.
During the seminar, discussions revolved around the importance of presenting such films at this time, the production, directing, and acting challenges faced in this type of artistic work, and the future of the Egyptian market in producing similar films.
The event was honored by the presence of the film’s star Ahmed Salah Hosny, its director Hesham El Rashidy, and its producer and founder of TrendVFX, Mohamed Tantawy.
The seminar was moderated by Dr. George Latif Sidhom, Assistant Professor of Digital Media at the Faculty.
