Galala University is proud to announce a new student achievement at the Arab Biotechnology Innovation Competition 2025. Youssef Ahmed Saied, a Biotechnology student at Galala University, has been selected among the top finalists in the Pre-Incubation Phase (Undergraduate Category) of the competition.

The competition is held as part of the activities of the 11th Arab Biotechnology Conference, hosted at the National Research Centre in Cairo, and organized by the Arab Biotechnology Association under the umbrella of the Arab Council for Scientific Research Councils.

This recognition reflects the strong innovation culture and scientific excellence of Galala University students. During the competition, Youssef presented his project GalaDerm™️, an eco-friendly biomedical solution that contributes to the growing field of green biotechnology and highlights the role of sustainable innovation in medical applications.
