Mohamed Hassan El Haddad, a senior student at the Faculty of Engineering – Galala University, recently completed an international training program in China, marking a remarkable step in his academic and professional journey.

Mohamed learned about the training opportunity through Ain Shams University’s “Workshops Labban” initiative, which offers practical training for university students across Egypt in various specializations.

He began his first training phase in Egypt, joining the Energy Department for two weeks. Reflecting on this experience, Mohamed described it as “extremely beneficial and hands-on,” highlighting how it allowed him to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting — deepening his understanding of engineering concepts.

Following his excellent performance, Mohamed was nominated for an international training opportunity in China, which he described as “a great honor and life-changing experience.” The program took place from September 8 to 22, 2025, at Tianjin Light Industry Vocational Education College and Tianjin Transportation College.

During the training, Mohamed and his peers were introduced to advanced technologies and systems in:

CNC Machines

3D Printing and 3D Scanning

Reverse Engineering

Renewable Energy

He noted that the program was largely practical, allowing participants to explore innovative systems in fields such as traffic management, automotive manufacturing, robotics, and production lines within factories.

Beyond academics, Mohamed shared that the experience was also rich in cultural exchange, providing insight into Chinese traditions, cuisine, and lifestyle. “The hospitality and organization were exceptional,” he said. “We received great support from everyone involved, and they organized cultural and recreational activities to help us experience the local culture more closely.”

In conclusion, Mohamed described the China training as “one of the most valuable and enriching experiences” in his life — both scientifically and culturally — emphasizing how it contributed significantly to his growth and understanding of modern engineering and technology.

Congratulations, Mohamed! You continue to make Galala University proud as a shining example of our students’ global engagement and excellence.
