University History

Galala University was established as a forward-thinking academic institution with the aim of providing top-tier education and fostering innovative research. Founded in 2020, established by Presidential Decree No. 436 of 2020, the university quickly became a prominent center for academic excellence in Egypt. It was designed to cater to the evolving educational needs of the modern world, with a focus on interdisciplinary programs, student-centered learning, and cutting-edge facilities.

The university’s emphasis on quality education has led to partnerships with leading institutions, including Arizona State University (ASU), offering dual degree programs that allow students to gain an international education with and without leaving Egypt. This partnership ensures that Galala University students benefit from a global perspective and access to top-notch resources from both universities.

In its short history, Galala University has achieved significant milestones, including the establishment of highly regarded faculties in over 14 fields and offering more than 45 programs. The university has also developed state-of-the-art campus facilities, including modern dormitories, research labs, and sports centers, which provide students with a holistic learning environment.

Through its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and community engagement, Galala University continues to shape the future of higher education in Egypt and beyond, preparing students to be leaders and innovators in a rapidly changing world.

Goals of the Alumni Unit

  1. Strengthen the Bond with Alumni:
