Hands of Change Club

Hands of Change is a student-run, extra-curricular, and non-profit civil society club that provides insights and inspiration to make a positive impact within and beyond Galala University. The purpose of the Club is to raise awareness among students through events/ activities to collect funds and items to be donated to various charity organizations.

Mission

Hands of Change Club aims to create an interlinked and empathetic community that is aware of the world around it and able to take initiatives to make it a better place.

Vision

Establish a humane society, teaching students to put others’ needs above theirs if necessary and to be aware of other people’s struggles around them within our & other communities.

Activities

Some of the club’s activities are:
- Sending Ramadan bags to unfortunate families in need.
- Visiting orphans in orphanages and donating (hand-made) gifts /presents.
- Visiting elders in shelters and assisting them.
- Visiting children with disabilities and offering them gifts.
- Fundraising for a cause.
- Raising awareness for different charity (fundraising) events.
- Reducing ethical stigmas.
