Ahmed Hazem ElTanboly, Ph.D. holder. He received the Bachelor degree in Computer Science and the Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2001, and 2010 respectively. Dr. Eltanboly was awarded a Ph.D. scholarship from the University of Louisville, (USA 2015-2019). He joined the BioImaging laboratory in 2015 to pursue his Ph.D. His research interests include developing techniques for solving various mathematical problems of physical meaning, which need both programming skills and statistical analysis. His research work has been reported at several prestigious international conferences (e.g., IEEE) and in journals (e.g., Applied Mathematics, Medical Physics, etc.) His work is related to novel image analysis techniques for early detection including developing accurate diagnosing algorithms for eye diseases. Such work earned him awards, including first place at the annual Research Louisville 2018 meetings.
