Biography

Dr. Ahmed M. Faramawy is a respected Associate Professor in Physics, holding positions at both Ain Shams University and Galala University. His academic journey is marked by a steadfast dedication to advancing knowledge in various domains of physics.

Dr. Faramawy’s educational background reflects his commitment to academic excellence. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Physics from Ain Shams University in 2009, laying the foundation for his future pursuits in the field. Continuing his academic journey, he pursued a Master of Science in Physics from the same institution in 2017, further specializing in his chosen field.

Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a passion for research, Dr. Faramawy embarked on a transformative journey that led him to the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Padua, where he earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree in 2021. This experience broadened his horizons and provided invaluable insights into cutting-edge research areas.

Dr. Faramawy’s research interests encompass a wide array of topics at the forefront of modern physics. His expertise spans Magnetic Nanoparticles, Nanophotonics, Nanoplasmonics, Polymers, DMS (Diluted Magnetic Semiconductors), Biosensors, Optical Characterization, Electrical Measurements, and Photocatalytic and Degradation Processes. By delving into these diverse areas, he contributes to advancing our understanding and application of fundamental principles in physics.

  • “Magnetic Properties and SAR for Gadolinium-Doped Iron Oxide Nanoparticles” research project was funded by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT), grant number 6488 and “The APC was funded by the Academy of Scientific Research and Tech- nology (ASRT), 2019-2021”.
  • “Co3O4 nanopetals layers for photoelectrochemical degradation” the project 2019 STARS450 Grant programme “SensCo” from the University of Padova. The research has been funded by the projects HILIGHT (SID 2017) and FUN-FACE (SID 2019) of the Physics and Astronomy Department (UNIPD). This work was partially supported by the following projects: the Italian MIUR (PRIN2017: Multi-e, No. 20179337R7) and CNR (Progetti di Ricerca @CNR – avviso 2020 – ASSIST).
