Biography

Professor Moshira Abdel Hakim Rateb Said is an esteemed figure in the field of physiology, holding a prominent position as a Professor in the Physiology department of the Faculty of Medicine. With over 12 years of experience in this role, she has significantly contributed to medical education and healthcare delivery for more than 37 years. Dr. Rateb’s academic journey is highlighted by her PhD in medical Physiology from Cairo University, an MSc degree in clinical endocrinology and diabetes from Ain Shams University, and an MBA in healthcare management from Keele UK. Her research accomplishments span across the domains of physiology and healthcare management, demonstrating her versatile expertise. Dr. Rateb has occupied various leadership roles concerning medical education, as well as the quality and delivery of health services, both in Egypt and internationally.
