Biography

Dr. Sameh Hassanien Basha’s expertise in computational science, particularly in the fields of Machine Learning and data analysis, is exemplary. With a Ph.D. and master’s degree from Cairo University, he has dedicated his research career to advancing techniques for handling imprecise data in basic science.

Dr. Basha’s research focuses on a range of topics, including Machine Learning, statistical methods, and optimization techniques. He specializes in soft computing, leveraging approaches such as rough sets, neutrosophic logic, and data mining to address the challenges posed by imprecise data.

In his master’s thesis, Dr. Basha integrated the wavelet method into a genetic-fuzzy data mining model, demonstrating his innovative approach to refining input rules for improved model performance. For his Ph.D. thesis, he introduced a Neutrosophic Rule-Based System (NRBS) with evolutionary learning, addressing the limitations of traditional NRBS models in learning from data.
