Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Production

Tues 10 September to Wed 11 September Or Tues 24 September to Wed 25 September
Workshop Code (C4)

Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Production

This workshop focuses on the core principles of fuel cells and hydrogen production, offering a balanced blend of theoretical understanding and hands-on application. Spanning two days, each day features a two-hour lecture covering the fundamentals of fuel cells and hydrogen production. The 8-hour lab sessions provide practical insights into designing electrochemical cells for water splitting, ethanol electro-oxidation, employing electrochemical techniques (CV, CP, EIS), and conducting data analysis.

Day-1

  • 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Introduction to fuel cells and water splitting
  • 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: Break
  • 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Electrochemical techniques (CV, CP, EIS, and stability) – Electrodes Preparation

Day-2

  • 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Ethanol electro-oxidation.
  • 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: Break
  • 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Electrocatalysts for water splitting – Data analysis
