Galala University Signs a Cooperation Protocol with the Egyptian Red Crescent Society

Galala University (GU) is proud to announce the signing of a Cooperation Protocol with the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, marking a significant step toward enhancing health and safety services on campus.

The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Prof. Dr. Adel Adawy, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Galala University and former Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Ashraf Haider, Acting President of Galala University, and Dr. Rami Al-Nazer, Executive Director of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society.

Through this strategic collaboration, the Red Crescent will equip Galala University Campus with a fully integrated medical emergency facility, which includes:

  • Establishing emergency points across the campus,

  • Providing a dedicated ambulance, and

  • Setting up an integrated medical clinic to serve the GU community.

Additionally, the Red Crescent will offer awareness sessions for students and staff on health and safety practices, while also supervising the disinfection and sterilization of university facilities to ensure the highest standards of precautionary measures against COVID-19 and other health risks.

This partnership reflects GU’s commitment to ensuring a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for all members of its community while aligning with Egypt’s national efforts to enhance public health and wellbeing.
