Galala University Hosts the First Red Sea Maritime Transport and Logistics Conference (RSMTL 2022)
Galala University organized the first Red Sea Maritime Transport and Logistics Conference (RSMTL 2022) in collaboration with On Air, held on February 20–21, 2022. The conference took place under the auspices of H.E. Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and H.E. Lieutenant General Eng. Kamel Al-Wazir, Minister of Transportation.
The event witnessed the participation of Transport Ministers, trade representatives from countries bordering the Red Sea coast, as well as heads of ports and major companies operating in the maritime transport and logistics sectors.
The RSMTL Conference served as a vital platform for discussing strategic developments, sustainable logistics solutions, and the future of maritime transport in the Red Sea region. It also aimed to strengthen regional and international cooperation in the field of maritime logistics, promote investment opportunities, and highlight Egypt’s growing role as a regional hub for transportation and trade.
By hosting this significant event, Galala University reaffirmed its commitment to advancing research and dialogue on sustainable development, economic integration, and innovation in transportation and logistics, aligning with global efforts to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
