Galala University Hosts Webinar on Its Contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals
In December 2022, Galala University organized an enlightening webinar titled “How Galala University Contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”, highlighting the institution’s ongoing efforts to support sustainability at the educational, research, and community levels.
The webinar brought together faculty members, researchers, and students to showcase practical initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in quality education (SDG4), industry, innovation and infrastructure (SDG9), and partnerships for the goals (SDG17).
Speakers discussed how the university integrates sustainability into academic curricula, research projects, and student activities. Examples included renewable energy research, smart campus initiatives, entrepreneurship support, international collaborations, and community development programs. The event emphasized the importance of educating students about global challenges, encouraging innovation, and fostering partnerships with government, industry, and international institutions to drive meaningful impact.
By hosting this webinar, Galala University reaffirmed its commitment to being a model for sustainable development in Egypt, preparing youth to become responsible leaders and active contributors to a better future.
