Techne Summit Cairo & Alexandria 2025: Galala University Strengthens Its Role in Egypt’s Innovation Ecosystem

Galala University continues to play a leading role in shaping Egypt’s innovation and entrepreneurship landscape through its active collaboration with Techne Summit. For the 2025 edition of Techne Summit Cairo & Alexandria, Hager Zein Elden and Khaled Samy, from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, have been selected by Techne to serve as Ambassadors for Suez City and Galala University, representing Techne’s mission to empower purpose-driven innovation across Egypt.

In her role, Hager Zein Elden takes the lead in coordinating Techne Drifts, an annual event hosted at Galala University in collaboration with Techne. This initiative connects students, startups, and innovators, fostering a culture of creativity, entrepreneurship, and collaboration. It also provides Galala’s students with an opportunity to engage directly with industry leaders, mentors, and investors — helping them transform ideas into impactful projects and sustainable ventures.

Through these efforts, Hager continues to strengthen Galala University’s position as a vibrant hub for youth-led innovation and a key driver of Egypt’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem, aligning with the university’s vision of empowering future leaders to create solutions for real-world challenges.
