Under the auspices of his excellency Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour and Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shinawi, GU Acting President, and in collaboration with the African Laser Center -South Africa, The Italian embassy in Cairo, Egypt and Optica (Formerly Optical Society of America), we are pleased to announce that GU will be organizing the first International Spring School on “Biophotonics Applications in Plant Biotechnology and Food Security”, that will be held at Galala University from March 14th-16th, 2023
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with international eminent experts coming from South Africa, Italy, Sudan, Egypt, and Romania to transfer knowledge and skills in the field of Plant Biotechnology and Food Security. Experts of the school are coming from different continents to interact with Egyptian students and young researchers to teach them advanced technology and applications in the field of Biophotonics, Plant Biotechnology and Food Security.
We encourage students, researchers, and professionals to attend all lectures at the school and gain valuable insights from leading international experts in the field.
Attendees will be awarded an accredited international certification from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Galala University, and the Italian Embassy in Cairo, upon completion of the program.
The school agenda will also offer a range of additional benefits, including a Gala Dinner, daily transportation to and from Galala University, comfortable accommodation in Galala accommodation facilities within and around the university campus, and lunch breaks.
