Yasser El Sayed

Major-General Dr. Yasser Ahmed El Sayed is a distinguished figure at Galal University, particularly in the Faculty of Medicine. Holding the esteemed position of Executive Director of Galala University Educational Hospital, Head of Cardiothoracic Department, and Head of the Medical Training Centre, Dr. El Sayed has established himself as an accomplished medical professional. His specialization lies in Cardiothoracic surgery, and he earned his bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from Zagazig University in 1987, followed by a Doctorate Degree from Ain Shams University in 2007. Throughout his career, Dr. El Sayed’s contributions have spanned diverse areas, from research projects focused on cancer detection and thoracoscopic surgery to his roles as a Thoracic Surgery Specialist at Air Force Hospital and El Madi hospitals.
