Galala University Organizes Its First Nursing Conference on Multidisciplinary Care During the COVID-19 Pandemic

As part of Galala University’s ongoing efforts to connect academic learning with real-world healthcare challenges, the Faculty of Nursing successfully organized the First Nursing Conference under the theme “COVID-19 Pandemic: Multidisciplinary Care.”

The conference was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shinawi, Acting President of Galala University, and Prof. Dr. Gehan El-Ghonemy, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing. It served as an essential platform for knowledge exchange, bringing together faculty members, healthcare professionals, and students to discuss the lessons learned from the pandemic and explore strategies for advancing healthcare education and practice.

Key sessions focused on the multidisciplinary nature of patient care during the pandemic, emphasizing collaboration among healthcare teams to ensure holistic treatment and patient safety. Participants also explored innovative teaching methodologies developed in response to the challenges of remote education during COVID-19, and how these innovations continue to shape the future of nursing education.
