The youth are a fundamental asset of any country and the pillars of development. Aligning with this vision, the Leadership Development Week was launched on GU Campus, under the patronage and the attendance of H.E. Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Shinawi, GU Acting President, and Dr. Karim Hammam, Director of the Leadership Institute. The event which started on January 28th and ended on Wednesday, February 1st gathered 500 students from 20 different universities from all over Egypt to compete in sports, artistic, social and cultural activities
Moreover, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between GU and the Leadership Institute which aims at preparing future calibers who are capable of building their country. The protocol also reinforces the concept of volunteering among young people and developing their talents in various fields through organizing several workshops and training courses that enhance their skillsets.
