Galala University Hosts the Supreme Council of Universities’ Pharmaceutical Studies Sector Committee Meeting

Galala University continues to lead the way in advancing pharmaceutical education, proudly hosting the “Pharmaceutical Studies Sector Committee Meeting” of the Supreme Council of Universities on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, under the patronage of University President, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Elshinawi.

The event opened with a warm welcome from Professor Dr. Ehab Hassanein, Vice President of Galala University, who greeted distinguished deans from pharmacy faculties across Egypt, alongside key partners from the pharmaceutical industry. His remarks reflected Galala University’s strong commitment to fostering national academic collaboration and strengthening ties with industry leaders.

The meeting was hosted by Professor Dr. Amira Abdel Motaal, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and led by Professor Abdelnaser Singab, President of the Committee, with the support of Professor Ahmed Hassan Elshafei, Executive Secretary of the Committee. The session provided a vital platform for discussing the future of pharmaceutical education in Egypt and exploring opportunities for innovation and partnership.

Following the discussions, attendees toured the Faculty of Pharmacy’s state-of-the-art laboratories and the wider Galala University campus, witnessing firsthand the institution’s dedication to academic excellence, research innovation, and sustainable development. The event strongly reflected Galala University’s alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
