Galala University welcomed Dr. Inga Kadeka-Harkova, Head of the International Relations Department at the Faculty of Business Administration in Riga, Republic of Latvia, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation and promote the exchange of academic expertise.
Dr. Kadeka-Harkova was received by Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Shinawi, President of Galala University, in the presence of several university leaders and representatives of the International Cooperation Office.
During the visit, both sides discussed prospects for collaboration in a number of key areas, including the development of joint academic programs, the exchange of faculty members and students, collaborative research and training projects, as well as institutional training and capacity-building initiatives. These discussions align with Galala University’s strategy to expand its international partnerships and enhance its academic presence at the regional and international levels.
As part of the visit, Dr. Kadeka-Harkova toured the university’s facilities, including lecture halls, laboratories, educational infrastructure, and student housing. She expressed her strong admiration for the modern infrastructure and advanced technological facilities, highlighting the high level of equipment, laboratories, and student accommodation. She noted that the facilities reflect the university’s commitment to providing an integrated academic and living environment that meets the highest international standards.
At the conclusion of the visit, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining ongoing communication and to developing practical mechanisms for future cooperation that will benefit students and faculty members at both institutions.
