Galala University proudly announces the participation of Mohamed El Sadeq, a Biotechnology student from the Faculty of Sciences, in the Young Scientific Talents Residency, held in Paris, France, from October 11 to 16, 2025.
The residency took place at Universcience – Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, with the support of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. It brought together 30 young researchers from more than 20 countries to exchange ideas and propose innovative solutions in the fields of sustainable agriculture and biodiversity conservation.
During the program, Mohamed presented his research project on Egyptian desert plants, focusing on the extraction of their aromatic oils to support sustainable development and the production of eco-friendly medical and cosmetic products.
He also visited several leading research institutions in France, including the National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE) and the French Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD), where he gained valuable international experience in sustainability and scientific innovation.
In recognition of his outstanding representation of Egypt and its youth on the international stage, Mohamed was invited to the Egyptian Embassy in Paris, where he was warmly welcomed by H.E. Ambassador Alaa Youssef.
