Architecture Students Gain Real-World Experience Through Field Trip to Galala City
At Galala University, experiential learning is at the heart of architectural education. The Architecture Program emphasizes the importance of connecting theory with practice, allowing students to apply what they learn in classrooms to real-world settings.
In this context, students from the Faculty of Architecture embarked on a field trip to one of Galala City’s residential compounds, where they had the opportunity to observe and analyze active construction sites. The visit provided students with valuable insights into architectural design implementation, structural systems, and construction management processes, all while enhancing their understanding of how urban development unfolds in real-life contexts.
Through direct engagement with professionals and on-site observations, students were able to connect academic knowledge with practical applications, gaining a deeper appreciation for the complexities of modern architectural projects.
This initiative reflects Galala University’s commitment to hands-on learning and industry integration, ensuring that its students graduate with the skills, creativity, and practical expertise required to excel in the competitive field of architecture.
