Admissions

New students’ admission and registration for Fall semester in the academic year 2023/2024 at Galala University.

Application is to be completed on campus with submitting copies of Egyptian General Secondary Education Certificate or its equivalent (for evaluation), the birth certificate, and a copy of the national ID number or passport and a personal photo. Students pay fees for admission tests on campus after evaluating the high school certificate and they shall be notified of the test date via e-mail.

Admission Requirements

The Admission process is regulated by the Supreme Council of Universities, the government’s coordination of Thanaweya Amma and its equivalent certificates, following these criteria; The minimum required score is decided each academic year by the Supreme Council of Universities.
Additional Note for International Certificates:
  • Students must have achieved an overall score equivalent to Egyptian Thanweya Amma.
  • Students must pass the Arabic and religion exams of Thanweya Amma before or after the final acceptance to the university.
  • Students must submit proof of 12 years of schooling.
  • Students must pass all the required admission tests and other requirements if any.
    To qualify for admission, international students must complete all secondary school graduation requirements.

Important Documents

Your final admission is pending receiving the acceptance email from Galala University , submission of all required official documents and paying the semester's tuition fees.

The documents required for admission:

  • The original high school certificate or transcript approved by the educational administration and a copy.
  • For the students of the Arab or foreign equivalency certificates; A complete approved and authenticated certificate is required from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.
  • Original Computer birth certificate (with triple number for the male students) and a copy.
  • 2copies of the student’s national ID card and a copy of the guardian’s National ID (father and mother).
  • Form 2 Soldiers for Male students.
  • Military card 6 card or (7 soldiers stamped from the recruitment office in the student’s department).
  •  8 personal photos 6×4 on white background.
  • Proof of paying semester’s tuitions fees.

American Diploma Requirements

The Original Documents Of

  • Final High School Diploma obtained from Egypt must be stamped by the school and stamp of Egyptian Educational Authorities (الإدارة العامة للإمتحانات التابعة لوزارة التربية و التعليم)
  • For certificates obtained from schools outside Egypt – stamp of school and the U.S. Accreditation Institution+ and stamp of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and stamp of Egyptian Embassy in country of certificate are required.
  • For ACT Score(s), to be stamped by ACT Organization and Egyptian Educational Authorities (الإدارة العامة للإمتحانات التابعة لوزارة التربية و التعليم)
  • Proof of 12 years of schooling obtained from Egypt stamped by School stamp and certified by the Educational Zone the school belongs to.
  • Proof of 12 years of schooling obtained from outside Egypt stamped by School stamp, the stamp of the Educational Zone, the Egyptian Embassy in that foreign country and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Arabic and Religion test scores of Thanaweya Amma level, stamped by the school and the Educational Zone the school belongs to.

IGCSE Requirements

The Original Documents Of:

  • IGCSE-Slips obtained from Egypt stamped by the British Council as True Documents only + stamp of Ministry of Foreign Affairs + stamp of Egyptian Educational Authorities (الإدارة العامة للإمتحانات التابعة لوزارة التربية و التعليم).
  • IGCSE Slips obtained from outside Egypt, required stamp of British Council, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Egyptian Embassy in country of certificate(s).
  • Proof of 12 years of schooling obtained from Egypt stamped by School stamp and certified by the Educational Zone the school belongs to.
  • Proof of 12 years of schooling obtained from outside Egypt stamped by School stamp, the stamp of the Educational Zone, the Egyptian Embassy in that foreign country and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Arabic and Religion test scores of Thanaweya Amma level, stamped by the school and the Educational Zone the school belongs to.

Arab Countries Certificate

The Original Documents Of:

  • Original Thanaweya Certificate stamped by the Egyptian Embassy of the certificate’s country and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (No certified copies will be accepted).
  • Students applying with a Saudi Arabian Thanaweyya or Emirati must submit the original stamped certificates of Grade 11 and Grade 12.
  • For Saudi certificate, in case of not studying the tenth or eleventh grade in Saudi Arabia, the student must submit certificates for these school years from any country where he/she studied it..
  • Saudi Arabian Thanaweyya must be presented with aptitude test scores along with the username and password to verify
  • Students applying with a Thanaweyya Emirati must submit the original stamped certificates of Grade 11 and Grade 12.

International Student Application

  1. Application Fees are 150 USD (nonrefundable) and should be deposited in the National Bank of Egypt, account number 0093061180356601019, with the student’s full name, passport number, and application fees written on the deposit form.
  2. No admission test is required for international students.
  3. Students have to submit clear scanned copies of the high school certificate, the passport, and the proof of payment for the application fees via email to admission@gu.edu.eg.
  4. The admission team will evaluate the application and high school certificate.
  5. Upon fulfilling all the admission requirements, a provisional acceptance email will be sent to the applicant.
  6. Students will receive all the details regarding university transportation and accommodation.

Tuition Fees

American Diploma Requirements

Tuition fees for new students were collected in:

  • 50% of the value of the expenses will be paid now with the submission of the student at the university
  • You will be informed of the dates of the new academic year for each program later.
  • laboratories insurance: One-time assignment (refundable upon graduation).

1- Other fees (Registration, State Universities Council Fees, Laboratories Insurance, and Administrative Fees) are to be paid in EGP.

  1. Students have to pay 50% of the annual tuition fees of the selected program to be officially enrolled in the university.
  2. Students have to submit all the original required documents to the university.
  3. The university will issue any required proof of enrollment to assist international students in the residency procedures.
  4. It is necessary to abide by announced deadlines.
