Professor Ahmed Hanno is the Dean of the Field of Art and Design in Galala University since 2020 after serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University for two years.
Professor. Hanno received his Ph.D. degree in Germany in Art philosophy and History, visual communication and animation films at the Kassel University.
He founded the Animation Department in the National Board of Culture centers, the Ministry of Culture. He was a member of the selective committee of DAAD (German exchange program).
He is an Active Member of the Egyptian Syndicate of Plastic Arts, Animated Film Association, and the Association of Fine Arts Lovers.
As a Lecturer, he joined many prominent educational institutions such as “Modern Science and Art University, MSA, Arab Academy for science and technology – Smart Village, the German University in Cairo, GUC -Applied Arts, the Faculty of Fine Arts, Animation Department – Minya University, Ministry of Communication – ICT training programs- Art & Animation, Nile University – Smart village”
